WikiYouth is the collaborative platform for volunteering opportunities in EU and neighbor countries

Wikiyouth is a EU portal which fosters networking of organizations and volunteers, where:

• sending organizations can advertise volunteer opportunities in the language of their local community
• organizations can find partners
• organizations can create corporate pages where to present their headquarters, staff, projects and activities
• both organizations and volunteers can document ESC activities and learning outcomes, in perfect Wikimedian style as a valuable non formal training
• volunteers can register their testimonials and inspire other volunteers

At present (June 2025) we have implemented the points 1) and 2), get in touch wit us to contribute creating a wonderful platform !

To whom is addressed this website ?

This website is addressed both to organizations and to volunteers. Hosting organizations can encourage their volunteers to write report and articles about their activities, while also training them in the use of MediaWiki. This can be a great opportunity both for organizations and volunteers to increase their in media-literacy skills and to properly document volunteer projects.

I am a hosting organization and would like to use WikiYouth together with our volunteers, what should I do ?

Just create create an account, and contribute autonomously to the website. After creating the account and confirming your email address, register your parent organization, register a project, and post other content (like reports and articles) following.
