The activity involve supporting teachers and professors in the teaching of Italian as a foreign language, and to conduct classes autonomously in a more interactive way.
How have you identified the need for this activity? What are the societal challenges that you are planning to address?
The aim of the activity is to provide an opportunity to young people who are learning Italian to interact with native speakers.
What are the tasks that the volunteers will typically carry out? What will be their role and how will they be involved in the activities?
Volunteers support teachers and professors in teaching classes, helping as native speakers and providing an opportunity to practice the language.
How will the volunteers benefit from taking part in the activity?
Volunteers benefit by interacting with local young people interested in learning their language and their culture. It is for them an opportunity to develop a multicultural relationship and communication with the local youth. Moreover, it provides a valuable experience in teaching.
How will the activity benefit the target groups and/or the local comm-unity and the organisations involved?
The students benefit by being exposed to young people with whom they can practice their target language and who can share with them insight about their country. Teachers benefit by being supported by native speakers during their classes.

It is important to take into account that students might need special attention during the learning processes, especially if they are children.
